In silver dreams: Mansha and Jibran’s minimalistic nikkah

Couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony on Saturday

Congratulations are in order for Mansha Pasha and Jibran Nasir who tied the knot in an intimate ceremony on Saturday. The couple, who announced their engagement in 2019, got married in a small nikkah ceremony, with their loved ones in attendance. The Laal Kabootar actor shared minute details on her Instagram and here are some we can’t help but adore!

A different approach

When most to-be-weds think of a dream wedding, the guest list is endless and the location is always stressful to decide on. In Mansha and Jibran’s case, both the bride and groom made sure to follow all Covid-19 SOPs, keeping their event minimal yet elegant. The invitees were shortlisted to immediate family members and friends, while the nikkah ceremony was solemnised by Javed Ahmad Ghamidi via Zoom.

Décor

While we often see colourful-themed weddings, the duo decided otherwise. Mansha chose to incorporate ivory and silver tones for her big day. Surrounded by pampas grass and white roses hanging from the ceiling, the décor included black and white sofas, coupled with grey sequined cushions. As per the photos, the bride and groom were seen seated on a Moroccan-printed black coloured chaise for their photoshoot and a classic ivory love seat while signing the papers.

Attire

Mansha stunned in a bespoke ivory number, created by designer Zuria Dor. Her outfitted featured a floor-length flowy pishwas, complete with a beige-gold lehenga. She carried a sheer, embellished dupatta and a rose gold drapery over her arm. The ensemble, if compared to what many brides opt for, seemed rather simplistic and sophisticated. From the neckline to its hem, the ivory bridal was embellished with zari detailing and scattered pearls. On the other hand, the groom looked dapper in a white kurta paired with a beige-gold waistcoat, matching his wife’s attire.
