Saba Qamar turns 37: Inside the intimate birthday party

Friends including Ali Azmat, Bilal Saeed and Erum Khan were seen at the event

Saba Qamar recently turned 37 and she rang her birthday in like a true diva. As a pre-birthday celebration, the Baaghi actor was spotted in all her glory post her recent and much-publicised breakup on Sunday night, wearing a Royal blue midi dress complimented by perfectly curled hair and a bold lip.

Along with the glitzy celebration with close friends, Qamar received love-filled wishes from fans and fellow actors alike. She shared moments from the bash on the photo-sharing application Instagram.

With black balloons, neon lights, chrysanthemum floral settings and the three-layered fondant cake, Qamar’s birthday was an unexpected extravagant affair as seen on in the pictures. The event was organised by the pool in the best way possible for the superstar. As far as dressing is concerned, the Lahore Se Aagey beauty stunned in a blue evening dress and voluminous hairstyle for the night.

Some of familiar faces were seen at the event included former Junoon band member Ali Azmat, singer Bilal Saeed and many other showbiz personalities. While we contemplate if it’s a great idea to be surrounded by people in these uncertain times, we’re sure about one thing and that’s Qamar was surrounded by people who make her feel loved and appreciated.

Previously, the actor, who had revealed she would be tying the knot with blogger Azeem Khan two weeks ago, only to call off the engagement last week, was showered with love and praise from fans everywhere for finally changing her stance on marriage. But all that excitement dumbed down when someone alleged that Khan had had a history of problematic behaviour, particularly with women.

But it seems Qamar did not see a light at the end of the tunnel and so, once again, she will not be tying the knot. From Mahira Khan and Yumna Zaidi to Yasir Hussain and Ayesha Omar, many of her fellow celebrities lent support to the 37-year-old after she made the announcement.
