Pakistan and Turkey have agreed on a joint venture for a new drama serial after Speaker of National Assembly Asad Qaiser visited Turkey recently. Upon his visit, he met the producer of popular chronological shows Diriliş: Ertuğrul and Kuruluş: Osman and invited their teams to visit Pakistan, reported Express News.

But the better news is that the team behind the series will pay Pakistan a visit soon after Eid and meet Prime Minister Imran Khan to discuss the upcoming Pak-Turk collaboration. The said serial will include our very own actors who have been seen along with the cast of Ertugrul Ghazi, hinting at the upcoming project.

The NA speaker had taken the news on microblogging site Twitter and shared, “Walking through the set of #kurulusOsman has been a joyful experience for us. I shall always cherish the hospitality and warmth given to us in Turkey. We are grateful for the love with which you hosted us.”

He also met the lead actor of hit series, Burak Özçivit and tweeted, “It was a pleasure to meet with @burakozcivit from #KurulusOsman. I thoroughly enjoy watching period pieces in the little time I get. Hoping Kurulus: Osman to be another memorable watch.”

Previously, it was reported that the upcoming series will be based on the renowned sub-continent personality Turk Lala from the Khilafat Movement.
