Indictment put off in Osama Satti murder case

Police requested court to grant time for submission of final challan

ISLAMABAD:

Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Raja Jawad Abbas Hassan on Friday adjourned the criminal proceedings against Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) personnel arrested in the Osama Satti murder case till March 12.

The police produced the five arrested accused before the court under tight security.

On the occasion, the police requested the court to grant time for submission of the final challan upon which the court directed them to ensure its submission at the next hearing.

On January 2, at around 2am, Osama had gone to drop his friend in Sector H-11. When he was returning, the police officials had intercepted his vehicle in Sector G-10 and fired at him from all sides.
