Muhammad Maghis Sanaullah, the Abbottabad deputy commissioner, instructed on Saturday all revenue officers to expedite work on the early resolution of revenue court cases for ensuring relief to the public.
He said this while presiding over a meeting of the revenue officers directing them to solve these court cases within six months to one year by ensuring relief to the citizens.
He said the computerisation of all land records will help resolve several issues. During the meeting, Abbottabad Additional Assistant Commissioner Revenue Syed Asif Iqbal briefed the DC about various issues related to revenue, while Deputy Director Database Computerization of Land Records Masood gave a briefing on computerisation of land records and online resources.
He said that from 2019, the digitisation of records of 242 locations of Tehsil Abbottabad and Lower Tanwal is under way in the Abbottabad Service Delivery Centre and the computerisation of 35 locations is ongoing.
The record of 51 more facilities has been completed and the computerised service of these facilities will be started by the end of this month after which the number of computerised facilities will be increased to 86.
The process of data entry in the remaining 156 positions has been completed and the errors are being corrected and by June 2021, all records will be completed and public service will be started.
