Polling for four vacant seats of the national and provincial assemblies in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa concluded on Friday evening at 5pm.
Seats of NA-75 Sialkot-IV, PP 51 Gujranwala-I, NA-45 Kurram-I and PK-63 Nowshera fell vacant due to the demise of the lawmakers.
Authorities claimed that foolproof security arrangements were made to ensure polling is conducted in a peaceful and transparent manner, however, there were reports of violence from Dhaska.
On February 16, polling for three seats of the Sindh and Balochistan assemblies in the constituencies of Malir, Sanghar, and Pishin concluded.
The seats had fallen vacant after the demises of Pakistan Peoples Party's (PPP) Ghulam Murtaza Baloch and Jam Madad Ali and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl 's (JUI-F) Syed Faza Agha.

The elections were held for PS-88 Malir 2, PS-43 Sanghar, PB-20 Pishin seats.
