Ali Zafar has everything going his way
The music of much-awaited Yash Raj venture Mere Brother ki Dulhan (MBKD) was released on August 9 with live performances by Katrina Kaif and Imran Khan, according to a press release by Yash Raj Films. Playing the third character in the love triangle in MBKD is Pakistani ‘prince of pop’ Ali Zafar. This is Zafar’s second acting project in B-town and his very first experience working with Yash Raj Films.
Apart from acting, Zafar has also contributed his powerful vocals in a duet, “Madhubala”, with Indian singer Shweta Pandit. The song has been released online and fans can have a listen on YouTube and other social forums. The premiere of the film is expected to be on September 9 and rumour has it that Zafar will be promoting the project along with his co-stars, Imran Khan and Katrina Kaif, in India. According to Zafar’s publicist, Ammara Hikmat, the three actors will perform live during a promotional event of the movie.
Mere Brother ki Dulhan is a romantic comedy set in the upper-middle stratum of Northern India and has Kush Agnihotri (Imran Khan) looking for an ideal Indian bride for his brother Luv Agnihotri (Ali Zafar) who lives in London.
Zafar plays the role of 30-year-old confused investment banker residing in London. A Casanova at heart, Luv has everything he could ask for, until one day he realises he wants to spend his life with a traditional Indian girl, so he assigns the job of finding a suitable match to his brother Kush.
Kush’s quest comes to end when he finds his brother’s match in Dimple Dixit (Katrina Kaif), and all is going well until Kush ends up falling in love with his brother’s fiance.

Why would anyone blame Ali Zafar from not acting in Bollywood. He is the entire package good looking, great singer and the young people in Indo-Pak adore him. He is slowly proving to the world that there is a lot of talent in Pakistan and when you use it great works of art & entertainment can appear. For those nay-sayers who bash Ali Zafar for acting in Bollywood can you present a better vehicle for him to display his talents?

No one has a crystal ball to foresee the future but with pessimist statements.."Indian Producer or Director will try to find a ways and throw money at him to sell his country and religion"..…& ..."you will get only hate and more bombs...." I guess every continent has people that work hard at the negative energy to make this world darker than it is mean to be !
At first glance it looks good -as long as he gets good & RESPECTABLE roles - but you have to remember most indians never accept Pakistanis - Sooner or later some Indian Producer or Director will try to find a ways and throw money at him to sell his country and religion ......
Nazia hassan was offered to sing a Nationalistic indian song ---She DECLINED I respect her for that.

@rabia: I would have been proud of him for being in a Hollywood type film but not in some B class Indian movie. Maybe Ali Zafar needs to settle in India and live with people there. We don't need his kind in Pakistan;
All pakistanis actors should be kicked out of india and they should not be allowed to act in indian movies until they stop sending terrorists to india.
he will soon be amongst biggest stars of bollywood, why would pakistani youngsters put a ban on watching bollywood movies? will they stop watching hollywood movies? stopping people from watching cinema is no good for your own industry.. look at all this talent which is otherwise going into waste.. atleast they can be an inspiration to the others which have lost hope

One Pakistani is doing something worth mention, this is troubling the repeatedly failed lollywood? look at this guy, does lollywood suit him? I don't count Bol and Khuda K liye as lollywood products. I hope we do better in future and i am sure he is sensible enough to make good choices, for now I just want to see them perform live..

Just when I thought youngsters in Pakistan has decided to put a ban on watching Indian movies, this guy goes and acts in one of their movie and that too of being an Indian. I don't know where will all this lead our own industry.
