Child Protection and Welfare Bureau (CPWB) Chairperson Sarah Ahmad and Punjab Inspector General of Police (IGP) Inam Ghani on Friday agreed to hold police training workshops to deal with cases revolving around child sexual abuse and other juvenile issues effectively. In a meeting held at the IGP office it was decided to train police officials dealing with child protection and molestation cases about the sensitivity and legal aspects of these cases. Moreover, CPWB Chairwoman Sarah Ahmad expressed interest in launching an anti-panhandling campaign with Punjab Police to discourage beggary among children through Punjab.
