Murder suspects blame victims for sexually abusing them

GUJRANWALA:

The killers of two transgender persons were arrested after they were identified by police as the victims’ acquaintances on Friday.

Both of them were arrested by the police and the murder weapon was also recovered. The murder suspects alleged that the victims had sexually abused them.

CPO Sarfraz Ahmed Falaki, while giving a press conference with SSP Operation Tasawur Iqbal and others, said that two transgender persons Shahzad alias Shehzadi and Zain alias Zaini were shot dead three days ago in Madukhalil area of Ladhiwala Waraich police station.

The police formed teams and, CIA DSP Nawaz Sial arrested the suspects.

The CPO further said that the slain Shahzad was the father of a girl.

He pursued dancing as a hobby. The suspect Sajeel and Usman were friends, he added.

Sajeel claimed that Shahzad and Zain called him after which they intoxicated and raped him. He also claimed that the suspects made videos and blackmailed him which was why he decided to kill them.

The CPO stated that the police was investigating the allegations of the killers.
