Hope Naseebo Lal sings upcoming PSL anthems as well, says Hira mani

Actor took to Instagram and lauded the singing legend for her brilliance

The PSL anthem debate doesn’t seem to be fading away any time soon. The song for the sixth installment of the Pakistan Super League has definitely ruffled some feathers as the divided opinion on Groove Mera has taken over the internet.

While many lauded the song, few (we’re looking at you, Shoaib Akhtar) find it rather insulting. After the Rawalpindi Express’ rant over the song went viral on social media, many came to the artists’ defense. The likes of Farhan Saeed, Adnan Siddiqui, Faysal Quraishi and others lauded the legendary singer Naseebo Lal for her praiseworthy range in the song.

Now, the recent celeb to talk about the latter is Hira Mani.

“You’ve sung the song brilliantly, Naseebo Ji. These vocals, this flair! These are the true essence of an artist,” the Meray Paas Tum Ho star penned, adding, “Fun fact: the same voice has been everyone’s favourite since the 80s. The digital era has just begun and thanks to that, we can now listen to Naseebo Lal even better! No other PSL anthem has been praised more than this one. This really is the best yet.”

Talking about the criticism on the song, Hira added, “We respect you, madam. These elite burgers have no clue about the brilliance of your talent. They don’t really know anything about the actual fan following.”

Taking a jibe at the critics, she went on, “Whoever holds the hand of Allah has no fear of anyone else. May Allah give you more success. You are the queen of PSL. I hope you sing the next PSL anthems as well. This is the wish and request of your big fan Hira Mani. We are proud of you.”
