RAWALPINDI:
Leaders of the Pakistan Muslim League -Nawaz (PML-N) and the Jamat-e-Islami (JI) visited the protest camp set up by the Ring Road affectees on Thursday.
PML-N’s Engineer Qamar-ul-Aslam and a delegation of JI leaders met with the protesters at Bagga Sheikhan to express solidarity with the affectees. During the meeting, they announced unconditional support for them.
Qamar ul Islam demanded of the administration to listen to the grievances of the people and solve their problems. The protesters thanked the political leaders for their support.
