An imam of the mosque was tortured in a domestic dispute as five people entered his house and abused the cleric in Tandlianwala.
Meanwhile, Ayesha Bibi, the sister of the Imam of the mosque, came forward and the suspects also tortured her. Later, they blackened the face of Hafiz Sajjad and humiliated him by making him walk around the village.
According to the police report, a case has been registered by Imam of Jama Masjid Hafiz Muhammad Sajjad, a resident of Chak No. 616 GB. It’s stated in the case that the suspect Dawood Yusuf, Ikram Qasim, Khan Shamir and five others entered the house and tortured him over domestic dispute.
Sadar Tandlianwala Police Station has registered a case against the named suspects under 355-148-149 PPC and started raids to arrest the suspects.
