Meeting discusses fencing of Pak-Afghan border
A high-level meeting pertaining to the fencing of Pak-Afghan border was held under the chairmanship of Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langau.
Addressing the meeting, Langau said the federal government was constructing a fence on the Pak-Afghan border to maintain law and order in the province and curb terrorism incidents.
"The Balochistan government is well aware of the fact that the various villages on the border which are bordered by the two countries house the ancestral lands of many tribes," he said. "Steps are being taken by the Afghan government to resolve bilateral issues amicably in response to the wishes of tribal elders.”
