In pictures: Jennifer Aniston’s luxe $11m apartment becomes internet's latest obsession

The building itself is reminiscent of the one in 'Friends'

Hollywood star Jennifer Aniston was living a life similar to her character from hit sitcom Friends, Rachel Green, long before she bagged the role. 

It's no secret that the Murder Mystery actor, 51, lived with her friend and fellow star Andrea Bendewald at West Village townhouse in New York City.

Well, the iconic apartment, which is reminiscent of the one in Friends, has now become all the rage on social media, as photos of the five-story building at 526 Hudson street emerge. 

The house spanning over 5,295 square feet is worth $10.95 million, and is only three blocks away from the NBC sitcom’s exterior.

In a statement to a Bendewald family representative, Aniston said: “I grew up on the Upper West Side, which was great! But honestly, my favorite memories are of the West Village at 526 Hudson St.”
