Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal on Saturday inaugurated the Hub Western Bypass Road which connects the industrial city to Karachi and laid the foundation stone of the Eastern Bypass Road project.
The Eastern Bypass Road project consisting 5-kilometres road will connect Hub with Saqran Road and will be completed in a short period of one year. The road will be constructed at a cost of Rs150 million, while the Western Bypass Road project completed at a cost of Rs630 million.
The ceremony was attended by Balochistan Parliamentary Secretary on Minority Affairs Dinesh Kumar and former provincial minister Ali Baloch.
“The construction will facilitate transportation,” said the chief minister.
Kamal further said thousands of vehicles would be able to travel on the Western Bypass Road every day, adding a network of roads was being laid across the province.
