A 27-year old married woman was allegedly gang-raped by three people in Kharkai area of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s Mardan district.
The complainant lodged an FIR with Kharkai police station, stating that she was on her way home in the evening when three men Mehran, Hazrat Ali and Talha stopped her, overpowered covered her with a shawl and took her to a nearby place where they raped her one by one.
The suspects left her and fled when they saw a vehicle approaching. The suspects threw her in a ditch while escaping, leaving her injured.
