Two ‘rape’ cases reported

A married woman and a seven-year-old boy were molested in separate incidents on Thursday.

Police registered separate cases against the suspects and arrested at least one suspect. Police said they are searching for the other two suspects in the case.

According to the police report, seven-year-old boy a resident of Sindhu Town D-Type Colony, was playing outside his house when his neighbor Qaiser Ali, son of Bashir Ali, lured him and took him to his residence to sodomise him.

Passersby heard the hue and cry of the victim and caught the perpetrator in the act. He was handed over to the cops immediately.

In the second incident, a woman, resident of village 429 GB, claimed that her niece went to the fields to defecate when the suspects Waqar and Zafar raped her at gunpoint.

Police registered a case under Section 376 PPC and started searching for the nominated person.
