A woman and a minor girl were allegedly sexually assaulted in Dijkot on Monday.

Police said a 10-year-old girl was abducted and raped by a motorcyclist in the Razaabad area. He later threw the girl unconscious near Lasani Bridge. The girl was rushed to the hospital.

Police rushed to the spot and registered a case against the unidentified accused and started searching for him.

Taking note of the matter, RPO Rifat Mukhtar Raja sought a report from CPO Sohail Chaudhry and issued orders to arrest the accused and fulfill the requirements of bringing the suspect to justice.

As per details available with The Express Tribune, the minor girl, a daughter of Muhammad Shakeel and a resident of Razaabad left home in the afternoon to buy vegetables.

The motorcyclist lured her out of the way, abducted her and took her to an unknown location where he sexually assaulted her.

He later threw the girl unconscious near Lasani Bridge in Sargodha Road police station and fled.

Passersby spotted the unconscious and blood soaked girl and reported her to Rescue 15 who shifted her to Allied Hospital Faisalabad.

Meanwhile, the relatives of the victim searched for the girl on their own, after she did not return home, informed Razaabad police station about the situation.

Meanwhile, police control received a report that a ten-year-old girl was lying unconscious in Allied Hospital Faisalabad.

When the relatives of the victim rushed to the hospital, they came to know that the sexually abused girl was their daughter.

Razaabad police reached the spot and registered a case against the unidentified accused on the statement of the victim's father Mohammad Shakeel, son of Mohammad Siddique, and started searching for the suspect.

The hospital administration officials said police shifted the girl to General Hospital Ghulam Muhammadabad. Senior gynecologists at the hospital immediately treated the girl to stop the bleeding.

Razaabad SHO Sub Inspector Elias Baig said that the victim was abducted by a motorcyclist.

A CCTV footage had been found in which the suspect could be seen taking the minor girl with him.

In another sexual assault incident, a case had been registered in Kotwali police station by the wife of Arsalan, a resident of Soling Stop, Naseerabad.

It stated that the victim went to Bhuana bazaar for shopping with her friend.

The two women went to a shoe shop. Due to heavy rush inside the shop, the owner Sohail asked them to go and sit in a room on the upper floor of the shop, where the victim went and was seated.

Meanwhile, the shop owner Sohail and his employee Naeem came inside the room and allegedly raped her.

Kotwali police registered a case and started searching for the accused.

Cases of sexual violence against women and girls were rampant across the province.

On January 16, two minor boys including a grade three student were allegedly sexually assaulted in Dijkot.

The six-year-old boy, the son of Botha and nephew of Hanifa Bibi, residents of Chak No 66GB, Jhang Road, was lured by Abbas, Haroon, Al Maroof and four others. The suspects took the minor boy near a graveyard where they to raped him.

Reportedly, the boy was severely injured in the assault.

Separately, a nine-year-old boy, the nephew of Munir Ahmed and a resident of village 30GB on Nadwala Road, was allegedly sexually assaulted by Usman, son of Ali Asghar.

The suspect took the third grade student to his house under the pretext of giving charity money where he raped the minor boy.

On January 1, a nine-year-old boy was sexually assaulted by two men in Dijkot.
