Body recovered in Daska

Minor victim was missing for past 14 days

The body of an 8-year-old boy who went missing 14 days ago, was found in a pond near Dhadu Basra tehsil in limits of Saddar Daska police station.

Police took out the body from the pond and shifted it to Civil Hospital. As per the details, the body of Faizan, the son of Abdul Rehman, a resident of Mouza Dhadu Basra, was found today in a village pond.

Police fished the body out from the pond. A farmer of the village was going to fetch fodder for his animals in the morning when he saw the body of a child in the pond and informed the family.

On the other hand, the heirs claimed that their son could not had travelled so far out of the village. They claimed that the minor had been raped and thrown into the pond. Saddar police station was informed about the missing case of the child.

Police had taken the body into custody and shifted it to Civil Hospital for medical formalities. The father of the minor, owns a tea shop in Mandiki village, said that his family was living in poverty. Faizan was a second class student, he added. The minor had a sister and three brothers.
