Police recovered drugs, illegal arms and cash

ATTOCK:

The Attock Police have arrested more than 300 proclaimed offenders during the previous year and recovered drugs, illegal arms and cash in different operations, a spokesperson shared on Tuesday.

According to the details, the police arrested 378 proclaimed offenders, recovered 27 mound hashish, 42 kilogrammes of heroin, 25 kilogrammes of opium, two kilogrammes of ice and 2,580 bottles of liquor, registering a total of 818 cases.

The police also recovered illegal arms, which include 599 pistols, 74 Kalashnikovs, 78 rifles, 13 revolvers, 14 repeaters, 19 daggers, 32,108 bullets of different calibre, 44 motorbikes, three vehicles, one trawler and Rs120 million looted cash.

The officers were commended on their performance and directed to continue efforts to bring relief to the citizens as well as provide protection to their lives and property.
