Feroze Khan hopes to work with Diriliş Ertuğrul’s Ibn Arabi
Renowned actor Feroze Khan, who a little while back announced his return to showbiz, recently shared a quote by Ibn Arabi, the 12th century Muslim scholar, poet and philosopher. The actor took to Instagram for the upload, featuring a photo of Turkish actor Osman Soykut, who portrays the role of Ibn Arabi in historical drama series Dirilis: Ertugrul.
As the speculations about his private life are rife, Khan shared an iconic quote from the poet about loneliness. Soykut then thanked Feroze Khan for the post. “Loneliness is an essential friend on the road to bravery,” read the picture.
Soon after Khan uploaded it, Soykut turned to Instagram and re-shared the same photo and wrote, “Thank you Feroze Khan for sharing these golden words from the great master Ibn Arabi. I heard you have left show business in order to serve Islam. I believe there are many different ways to serve the higher cause. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you, or if you would like to work on some projects together”
The Romeo Weds Heer star was praised for being “brave” enough to quit showbiz after he announced it on Twitter. However, in the recent days, soon after disappearing from social media, Khan seems to have returned to his regular life again.
In an interview with Something Haute last week, he said, "My Sheikh ordered me not to quit showbiz." Elaborating further, he claimed his mentor believed the industry was a medium to spread the ‘paighaam’ of religion.
