ISLAMABAD:

The Private Schools Supreme Council (PSSC) reiterated its resolved to reopen schools from January 11 in any case.

The officials said that the government should announce the resumption of educational activities in schools from January 11 or else, they would reopen schools sans government permission.

PSSC leaders including Azhar Mahmood, Chaudhry Obaid, Abdul Waheed, Nasir Mehmood, Hafiz Basharat, and others said in a presser on Thursday that educational institutions will be opened in consonance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Shedding light on government duplicity, they expressed that hotels and bazaars were open but schools were closed.
