Police arrest suspect in young woman’s murder
Rural SP Farooq Buttar constitutes special team to collect evidence
ISLAMABAD:
The homicide unit of the Islamabad Police has arrested a man believed to be involved in the murder of a 24-year-old girl.
A police spokesperson on Wednesday said that the Koral police had lodged a First Information Report (FIR) after Allah Rakha complained about the murder of his 24-year-old daughter, Sonia.
Allah Rakha suspected that Shahzad was allegedly involved in the crime. The police registered a case and started investigating the matter. Rural SP Farooq Buttar constituted a special team who collected evidence and managed to apprehend the suspect.
