PM convenes cabinet meeting on 8th

The cabinet will discuss 15-point agenda including the reconstitution of the boards of six power supply companies

ISLAMABAD:

Prime Minister Imran Khan has convened a meeting of the federal cabinet on December 8 to discuss a 15-point agenda including the reconstitution of the boards of six power supply companies.

They include the Faisalabad Electric Supply Company, Hyderabad Electric Supply Company, Islamabad Electric Supply Company, Lahore Electric Supply Company, Peshawar Electric Power Company and Quetta Electric Supply Company.

The cabinet will approve the construction of the Federal Courts Complex in Karachi.

Reviewing the policy for the country’s diplomatic ties with France is also on the agenda.

The cabinet will decide the appointment of the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation managing director, the House Building Finance Company managing director and the State Life Insurance Corporation executive director.

The proposal to relax the policy of importing prohibited weapons will also be considered.

The joint financial statements of the federal and the provincial government will be presented before the cabinet.

The approval of the dentistry quota for the Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University Islamabad and reconstitution of the Pakistan Central Cotton Committee are also on the agenda.
