Balochistan Covid deaths reach 167

General public urged to exercise precautionary measures

Figures released by the National Command and Operation Center on Tuesday showed that 167 people had died due to coronavirus in Balochistan whereas 17,187 people had been infected.

Balochistan Department of Health’s media coordinator also confirmed 29 new cases. Approximately, 16,414 patients have recovered since the outbreak of the disease whereas 148,458 coronavirus tests have been conducted throughout the province.

According to the Balochistan Corona Cell spokesperson, the second wave of the virus is more deadly and lethal than the first one. He urged the general public to exercise precautionary measures and follow the standard operating procedures as defined by the provincial government.

“The virus is a global issue and not restricted to any country, tribe or sect. We will have to fight against it.”
