Police started raids to arrest the accused

Police registered a case against three armed men who allegedly abducted and physically assaulted a transgender person on Nadwala Road.

Police said the suspects, after abducting the victims, cut off the hair and snatched cash, a mobile phone among other valuables.

Police started raids to arrest the accused.

The case registered by a transgender gender person, a resident of Chak No 217, Rub Chakera. She complained that she had gone to Nadwala bungalow for some work.

On her way back, she was abducted at gunpoint by Shahid Imran, a resident Mandi Bahauddin, Zahid Irfan and Muhammad Yar, a resident of Sargodha.

The suspects took the victim to a crop field near Manda Pind and beat her.

They snatched 1.5 tola of gold jewelry, earrings, Rs18,000 cash and a mobile phone.

The suspect also cut her hair off and when she shouted at them for the heinous crime, they beat her. The accused then fled from the crime scene.

Police registered a case against the accused under Sections 337 V-382/34 and started searching for them.
