Results of matric special exams due today
The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) will release results for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Special Annual Examination today (Wednesday).
Examination Controller Aleem Qureshi on Tuesday said that students who have provided their cellphone numbers in the admission form will be sent their results via a text message.
However, he added that students can also see their results on the FBISE website. While result sheets will be dispatched to the provided addresses, students who do not receive their results by November 26 can obtain them from the examination controller’s office for free until December 10.
IBCC opens one-window service
The Inter Board Committee of Chairpersons has started a one-window service to facilitate students and their parents for the attestation and equivalence of documents.
IBCC Secretary Dr Ghulam Mallah said that they have signed an agreement with a private courier company for 1-Link services. Thereby, applicants can submit equivalence and attestation forms and fees at any TCS express centres across the country instead of visiting a bank.
With this agreement, the secretary said that applicants can deposit their equivalence and attestation fee at any of the 850 outlets of the TCS express centres in over 380 cities in the country. Meanwhile, Federal Minister for Education and Professional Trainings Shafqat Mahmood directed the IBCC to take measures to facilitate students in the attestation process by building their trust on courier services and that their academic documents can stay safe and secure.
