Five killed, four injured in wedding massacre
At least five people were killed and four others were injured when two groups exchanged fire in the Kohat district on Saturday.
The reason behind the armed clash is stated to be an old enmity. The incident occurred in the Kaghazai area in the limits of the Kohat Cantonment police station.
Police said that a musical programme, as part of a wedding, was underway on Saturday night when some suspects, identified as Mujahid, Zahid, Asfandyar, and Arshad opened fire on their rivals. As a result, Qaiser Muhammad, Niaz Muhammad, Junaid, Qasim and Abdur Rehman were killed on the spot while four others were injured.
The bodies and the injured were rushed to a nearby hospital.

Separately, an elderly man was found dead on the outskirts of the provincial capital on Sunday.
