The Federal Government of Pakistan has approved a three-year “Rolling Spectrum Strategy 2020-2023” in order to facilitate people with a faster telecom network speed announced the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA).

According to a report titled “Rolling Spectrum Strategy 2020-2023”, released by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), the spectrum master plan aims to provide an overview for spectrum allocation and policy reviews that are set to take place between 2020 and 2023.

Spectrum planning will help commercial operators with their network planning investments, the telecom industry is changing rapidly as more people become dependent on their mobile devices and the internet to commence their daily lives.

The Telecom sector continues to be amongst the fastest growing industries in Pakistan hence there is a need to review the plan (every 3 years) to ensure that the plan continues to be relevant.
