The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority (K-PCTA) and United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) have agreed to jointly produce a cultural and heritage map of the province.
This was disclosed during a meeting between the K-PCTA Director General Kamran Ahmad Afridi and UNESCO Country Representative Patricia McPhillips on Tuesday.
Afridi said that cultural mapping was a prerequisite for the promotion of culture. At this, the Unesco chief assured support for collecting data and information for this purpose.
