Balochistan police arrested three accused involved in rape and murder of an eight-year-old boy in Kalat district of the province, according to the provincial Inspector General of Police Mohsin Hassan Butt.
In a separate statement issued by Balochistan Home Minister Ziaullah Langove, he said the police conducted raid in Kalat and arrested the accused involved in the cold-blooded murder of the minor.
“The police officials are interrogating the accused,” added Langove.
The minor boy had gone to madressah near his home on Monday, October 28, but went missing around 4:30pm when it was time for him to return home, according to Zahoor Ahmed, a relative of the child.
The family reported the child missing and searched for him along with police through the night, to no avail.
At 9am on October 29, police informed the family that the minor boy's body was found from a hill near Kalat. The body was brought to Quetta for autopsy.
