15 booked for abduction, rape of two sisters
Police booked as many as 15 suspects allegedly involved in the abduction of two teenage sisters and sexual assault on them on Saturday.
The case was registered against 15 people, including a couple, and raids were launched to arrest them.
The accused reportedly filmed the victims during the sexual assault in Sargodha Road area and blackmailed them into silence.
In the case filed by Shagufta Kausar, a resident of Mohalla Hasina Colony, Gojra, in Sargodha Road police station, she stated that she was living in a rented accommodation in Mohalla Ashrafabad.
On the day of the incident, she went to the bazaar to buy groceries for her house when the accused Ali and his wife Rabia kidnapped two of her teenage daughters from their home. The accused also stole cash and mobile phones and handed them over to the other accused identified as Suleiman, Ali Raza, Danish, Chandi, Ahmed, Faizi, Waqas, Mehran, Adnan and Ali, she alleged.
The accused kept one of the victims in Gujranwala and her sister in a house near Al-Noor Hotel in Jhang Bazaar area. Two of the accused, Jani Akmal and Waqas, took photographs and made videos of the victims on their mobile phones and blackmailed them into silence, the complainant stated.
