Balochistan Assembly Speaker Abdul Quddos Bizenjo adjourned the assembly session till October 23 due to protest against the absence of ministers in the House.
The session on Tuesday started with a delay of one and a half hour while home minister, provincial ministers for Agriculture and Local Bodies didn’t attend the proceedings of the assembly.
During the proceedings, a lawmaker from ruling Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) expressed annoyance on the absence of the ministers and suggested the speaker to walk out with them in protest.
Later, the speaker adjourned the session.
The session also failed to table a resolution condemning former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s speech in Gujranwala.
