Speeding car kills motorcyclist

A man was killed and another was injured in separate mishaps in the city on Sunday night. A motorcyclist was killed after being hit by a speeding car on Gizri Bridge. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medico-legal formalities, where the deceased was identified as Ali Hassan, 28. The police were trying to trace the car driver with the help of CCTV footage. Meanwhile, a man sustained burn injuries when a fire erupted at a workshop at Suparco Road in Mowach Goth. The injured, identified as Muhammad Jamal, 29, was shifted to Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital’s burns ward for treatment.
