Man shot dead in car

LAHORE:

A 38-year-old man was shot dead by unidentified suspects in Defence C Police area on Thursday. Police said the victim, identified as Asif Alam, was travelling in his vehicle when he was intercepted near a commercial plaza in Defence area and shot at by the unidentified suspects. Alam suffered bullet wounds and died on the spot. A police team reached the site of the incident and shifted the body to a morgue for autopsy. They also collected forensic evidences from crime scene and recorded statements of the eye witnesses. A case has been registered on the complainant of the victim. Police said they were investigating the matter further.
