The Balochistan High Court on Tuesday barred, meshed and placed restrictions on the Provincial Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) projects being carried out in the province A two-judge bench comprising Chief Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhail and Justice Hameed Baloch heard the petition regarding the PSDP programme of Balochistan. During the hearing, the BHC chief justice remarked that not a single considerable project was allocated for drinking and clean water supply for Gwadar, Jeewani and the rest of the province in PSDP 2020 - 21. Terming the projects illegal,

Justice Mandokhail remarked that why the projects were planned without PC one. The bench blamed the additional chief secretary of the province for violating rules and issued a contempt of court notice to him. It is pertinent to note that a constitutional petition was filed in the BHC from 22 legislators of the Balochistan assembly belonging to the opposition benches.
