Naturalist Sir David Attenborough made his debut on Instagram with a video and instantly became a hit amongst excited fans as they reposted his video on their personal feed, reports GQ.
In his video that has been viewed 16.8m times, Attenborough 94, says “I am making this move and exploring this new way of communication to me because, as we all know, the world is in trouble…Over the next few weeks, I’ll be recording messages to explain what the problems are and how we can deal with them.”

While the video was just a minute and thirteen seconds long, it was enough to break the internet within hours. Sir Attenborough reached a million followers on the platform in just 4 hours and 44 minutes breaking Jennifer Anniston's record who reached a million followers in just 5 hours and 16 minutes, according to the Guinness Book of World Records.
