LAHORE:

Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan said on Thursday that the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan was to bring comprehensive and lasting development for which all available resources were used for the betterment of common people.

He expressed these views while talking to party workers during his visit to different areas of the NA-129 and PP-158 constituencies.

He said the construction of Zarar Shaheed Road at a cost of Rs160 million was underway, while millions of rupees were being spent in different areas of PP-158 to resolve various local issues.

The senior minister said the government funds were the trust of the masses and it was being ensured that every penny was used properly.

In particular, sewerage and other necessary pipelines should be laid first before the construction of roads and streets so that leakage does not start after construction, he added. Aleem said road carpeting, sewerage, water supply, patchwork and other development works have been completed in Gulistan Colony, Mustafaabad, Mian Mir, Allama Iqbal Road and adjoining areas while planning has been completed in other areas for development work, which would be done keeping in view the needs of the locals.
