Sindh Agriculture Minister Ismail Rahoo has said that six officials have died during the spraying drives against locusts.

Following this, the Sindh Agriculture Department has recommended that officials dying during locust spraying drives be given martyrs’ status. In a summary sent to Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, he suggested that all officials participating in spraying campaigns be given bonuses and bereaved families financial support.
