4 drown in Hub River, Lasbela Canal

QUETTA:

At least four persons drowned in the Hub River and Lasbela Canal on Sunday while bathing.

According to police, the deceased had come for a picnic and drowned while taking a bath in river. Edhi and navy divers rushed to the site after receiving information about the incident and recovered all the bodies before shifting them to Jam Ghulam Qadir Hospital Hub. They were identified as Shahzed, Zubair and Sajjad.

In another incident, a 20-year-old young man identified as Muhammad Khan drowned in Lasbela canal while taking a bath. He belonged to Magsi Goth Malier. His body was also recovered by Edhi rescue workers. All the four bodies were handed over to the families after completion of legal formalities.
