QUETTA:

Chief Justice of the Balochistan High Court (BHC) Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhel inaugurated a new building of Meskan-e-Kalat Judicial Complex in Kharan over the weekend.

Chief Justice of Federal Shariat Court, Justice Muhammad Noor Meskanzai and other judges of BHC attended the inauguration ceremony. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Justice Mandokhel urged lawyers to fulfill their responsibilities with honesty to restore the confidence of people in the judiciary.

“Delay in the provision of justice to people will not be tolerated,” he said, adding that the provision of speedy justice was the responsibility of the judiciary. The BHC chief justice concluded that justice delayed creates unrest in society. “It is in the interest of both the bench and the bar to uphold at all times the dignity and high standards of their profession and abide by the prescribed canons of professional conduct and etiquette.”
