Valuables worth thousands of rupees were gutted in two other incidents of fire

At least three incidents of fire occurred in the provincial capital on Saturday in which valuables worth hundreds of thousands of rupees were gutted. As per details, valuables were gutted after a nine storey plaza in Garden Town caught fire. Rescue 1122 officials said the fire case was reported in Banu Mukhtar Plaza, Barkat Mareky opposite Allied Bank. Nearby people tried to extinguish it. On failure, they called Rescue 1122 teams. Fire fighters of the emergency service reached the spot on information and the extinguished fire. At least seven fire vehicles and water bowsers participated in the operation. No loss of life or injury was reported.

Meanwhile, valuables worth thousands of rupees were gutted in two other incidents of fire in the metropolis. A case was reported in the old tyre shop near Amjad Spinning Mill Manga towards Raiwind Road. The third case was reported in paper godown near sewerage drain in Lohari Gate. The fire incidents started as minor fire incidents that, in a short span of time, turned into major ones. Nearby people attempted to extinguish it. On failure, they called Rescue 1122 teams who extinguished it. No loss of life or injury was reported in these incidents.
