‘Promote critical thinking among students’
International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) President Dr Hathal bin Hamoud Al-Otaibi on Monday stressed for bridging the gap between academia and industry apart from promoting critical thinking amongst students.
He said this while addressing the vice presidents, director-generals, deans, professors and directors of IIUI.
Dr Al-Otaibi urged for pursuing academic excellence with an approach to produce human resource equipped according to the needs of the market.
He suggested that the university keep focusing on projects and goals which have an impact on society as universities are vital institutions which shape societies.
Dr Al-Otaibi said IIUI will keep providing quality education integrated with teachings of Islam.
He said that the students are an asset, therefore, they will be provided best and peaceful milieu for acquiring quality higher education.
