7 members of transplant authority appointed
Members had been appointed under Section 5 of the K-P Medical Transplantation Regulatory Authority Act 2014.
PESHAWAR:
The provincial government on Thursday notified the appointment of seven non-official members to the transplant authority.
In a notice issued by the K-P Health Department, the members had been appointed under Section 5 of the K-P Medical Transplantation Regulatory Authority Act 2014.
Appointed for three, they include PIKD Surgical Transplant Specialist Dr Ahmad Nawaz, PIKD Medical Transplant Specialist Dr Syed Muneeb,
Among the members from the private sector included Dr Nisar Ahmad Khan from the North West General Hospital in Peshawar and Dr Sohail Nisar, the head of Anesthesia at the Institute of Kidney Diseases at the Hayatabad Medical Complex.
