Two electrocuted to death

One incident occurred in Lyari, other is Shershah

KARACHI:

Two people were electrocuted to death in separate incidents in the city on Monday.

A man received a fatal electric shock while he was working at an under-construction building in Lyari. The victim, identified as Allah Bakhsh, 60, was rushed to Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital, where the doctors pronounced him dead.

Meanwhile, another man was electrocuted to death at a K-Electric substation in Shershah. The identity of the deceased could not be ascertained till the filing of this report. However, the police suspect the deceased was a drug addict, who was trying to steal cables from the substation.
