Man drowns near Kund Malir

KARACHI:

A man died after drowning in the sea while another was rescued near Kund Malir on Sunday. A group of friends was visiting the beach for a picnic when two of them drowned in the sea while swimming. Bystanders immediately informed rescue workers, who retrieved the body of the deceased, while rescuing his friend. The deceased was identified as Sohail Bashir, 28, and the survivor as Bilal Fareed, 30. The body was handed over to the family after completing medico-legal formalities.
