Light rain and drizzle were witnessed in various parts of Karachi on Friday evening, after heavy showers hit Nooriabad and Kathore. The areas that saw rain included Saddar, Gurumandir, Nazimabad and North Nazimabad, while the most rain - a millimetre - was recorded in Saddar and Gulshan-e-Hadeed, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department. However, according to unofficial weather stations, Gulshan-e-Hadeed received 5mm of rain, while North Nazimabad and Nazimabad received 3mm and Baldia Town received 2.5mm. According to the Met Office, the city may see light drizzle in the morning today (Saturday).
