A local court rejected on Friday a plea seeking the registration of a case against actor Saba Qamar and singer Bilal Saeed, stating that a case has already been registered in Lahore. The petitioner, Liaquat Gabol, claimed that Qamar and Saeed hurt the sentiments of the Muslim community by filming their music video in a mosque. He contended that the artists had ‘violated the mosque’s honour.’ The court observed that a case in this regard is already registered in Lahore, and as the mosque in question is also located in Lahore, there was no point of registering another case in Karachi.
