Two suspects nabbed in encounters

Two injured suspects were arrested after exchanges of fire with the police in separate encounters on Friday. According to police, the first arrest was made when the cops responded to a looting complaint in Gulshan-e-Iqbal. The suspects opened fire at the police, said the law enforcers, adding that one suspect was injured in the retaliatory fire. His accomplice, however, managed to escape. Separately, a second arrest was made following an exchange of fire with two suspects who were allegedly attempting to rob a citizen in Sachal.
