Dengue case reported in Lahore

Punjab reported one more confirmed case of dengue during the last 24 hours. As per details, the patient was from Gujrat district. Spokesperson for Punjab Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department officials on Friday, 639 suspected cases of dengue had been reported in the last 24 hours and their tests were being conducted. So far, 50 cases of dengue had been registered from January in the province, they added. However, 47 patients had been discharged after recovery and currently three patients were under treatment. No death due to dengue has been reported this year due to effective measures of the incumbent government, the officials claimed. He said the government was continuously working against dengue across the province.
